Beit Wadih is a Lebanese guest house owned and operated by a family dedicated to making their guests feel comfortable and enjoying their stay, an exclusive ‘art de vivre’ in an astonishing property built in the fifties, while conserving a true and authentic character.

Beit Wadih was built in the 1950s by Mr. Wadih Haddad, and is owned and operated by a family who is dedicated with love to providing you a truly relaxing vacation. The Guest house is located in Ghazir, which is a well-known traditional village in Lebanon, situated in the center of Foutouh Keserwan in Mount Lebanon.

This amazing property is formed of a three floor villa, surrounded by a splendid garden planted with huge Pine trees, along with a rich combination of flowers, roses and other plant groupings which will give a beautiful outdoor experience to memorize. In Beit Wadih you can enjoy a room with a view over the bay of Jounieh. The villa itself strongly represents a fifties architectural character, which is closely related to Lebanon’s golden era of construction. Its structure is made of bearing walls and arches, all made of thick natural yellow stones reinforced by an internal layer of concrete, which is among the best construction techniques for defying age out there.

Wadih Haddad (1923-1992), who was the owner of the place, made a reputable architect career during the golden construction age in fifties and sixties. His perfectionism is the reason why Beit Wadih now can offer its guests such a beautiful property, now manager by members of his family, who decided to give the guesthouse his name to honor this respected architect, as well as husband, father and friend.

The fact that is was made in the fifties and that it preserved all its authenticity, makes Beit Wadih ideal for all your events. Our guesthouse can organize a small wedding for couples who want to get married in a beautiful landscape. We are also offering you baptism and first communion organization, and besides that, Beit Wadih might be a perfect place to celebrate your birthday. Any events that you might have on your mind and believe that our guesthouse is the best setting for them, feel free to discuss it with us, as we are prepared to do our best to provide our guests the utmost experience in our property.

The property undergone a recent renovation, which ended in June 2015, and is transformed into an operational guesthouse, ideal to spend a vacation. As a main objective throughout the entire renovation, we have given our best to preserve the fifties’ character and a careful attention to the details of the villa. In order to offer our guests authentic and extremely pleasant stay, we have added a twist of the modern touch to ensure a maximized experience for each and every guest. The triplex villa is consisted of a total of nine bedrooms, each of them having a private bathroom and a terrace. All guests also have access to a lounge/reception area with terraces, kitchen, chimney, bar and, of course, an amazing garden.

As per room specifications, Beit Wadih offers double bedrooms (additional third bed can be added upon request), bed & breakfast, private bathroom, heating systems, A/C, Wi-Fi and private terraces, along with the sea view. With all this at your disposal, we guarantee your stay will be like in a best hotel.

Our guest house is located in Ghazir, which is a traditional Lebanese village located in the heart of Keserwan, with a proximity to the old Byblos city and the beach.

Nestled in the heart of Mount-Lebanon, the most authentic and characteristic areas of Lebanon, Beit Wadih provides the intimacy of a private villa with the comfort of a boutique hotel. Only a few minutes from the coast, the quiet and charming guest house overlooks Jounieh bay.

Rooms are styled with individual accents and decorated with furniture passed down through generations. Begin your day with a delicious breakfast of Lebanese traditional specialties in the lovely dining room or on one of the terraces.

The Property

Beit Wadih guesthouse hotel is perfectly located midway between the North, South and Bekaa areas of Lebanon, in an ancient Lebanese city called Ghazir. It has been restored by its founders to maintain the charm and style dictated by its original Lebanese architecture.

The property was built with perfection in the 1950’s by Mr. Wadih Haddad, a passionate well known architect, to be his permanent residence. It is located in Ghazir, one of the most reputable Lebanese traditional villages situated in the center of FoutouhKeserwan – Mount Lebanon.

The property is formed of a 3 floor Villa surrounded by a splendid garden planted with huge Pine trees and embraced by a rich combination of flowers, roses and other plant groupings which will leave you with a memorable outdoor experience. The property enjoys a 360ْpanoramic view over the bay of Jounieh.

The villa itself strongly speaks out atypical fifties architectural character which closely correlates withLebanon’s golden era of construction. The villa’s structure is made of bearing walls and arches; all made of thick Natural yellow stones (personally handpicked) reinforced by an internal layer of concrete, one of the best construction techniquesthat defies ages.

Currently, the property is under renovation and will be transformed into an operational guesthouse by June 2015. Our main objective throughout the whole renovation process is to preserve the fifties’ character with a very careful attention to the smallest details of the villa, in order to offer our guests an authentic and extremely pleasant stay. A twist of modern touch is being added to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience for each and every guest.

The triplex villa will have a total of nine bedrooms with private bathrooms and terraces. All guests will have access to a lounge/reception area with terraces, Kitchen, bar and of course a beautiful garden.

Wadih Haddad (1923-1992) was an Architect.He graduated and made a reputable career during Lebanon’s golden construction age in the fifties and sixties. He was known for his dedication to his work, at several occasions he used to continue his office works in his house, where one room was transformed into an office for additional late hours work.

Actually, BeitWadih is managed by members of his family and the Guest house holds his name as a tribute to a great Architect, husband, father, uncle and friend.
